During our weekend to Amsterdam we did a tour on boat through the "Grachten". Passing by this "Gracht", the tour-guide told us that this small red house was the narrowest house in Amsterdam, only 1.60 meters large !
Surfing a bit on the web for more information, it seems that it is a cheat and that it is actually much wider behind the front. According to the guide, somebody actually lives inside. I would love to see the interior, as it can't be that big anyway. Must be quite a challenge to furnidge a space like this.
( Hi inhabitant of this house, if, by chance, you should stumble upon this entry, please contact me ;) )
