I've seen this on recent trip to Strasbourg, France. Reminded of the times in my first apartment where i didn't have a washer and had to go to a launderette in my neighbourhood to wash my laundry...I've rarely seen them in Switzerland, though.

I've dreaming of washing machines for more than five years now - hoping I'll finally get one in a couple of months when I get round to doing up my kitchen. Until then, three cheers for having three weeks-worth of pants and socks! ;)
